Tom Crawford is the CFO of Berggruen Holdings and a member of the Board of Directors of IEC. Tom’s responsibilities include the accounting and tax functions as well as assistance in the implementation of strategies for the portfolio companies.

Previously, Tom was a partner at the Big 4 Accounting Firm of KPMG in New York City.  During his tenure at KPMG, he was the lead tax partner on a wide range of clients, such as Pfizer, Siemens, Canon, Heineken, United Technologies and Bertelsmann in which he assisted clients on business and tax matters including structuring and integrating business operations, buying and selling businesses, evaluating business alternatives and minimizing taxation.

Tom also held various firm leadership positions at KPMG including Area Managing Partner- Tax for New York City and the Northeast, U.S. and Northeast Area Partner-in-Charge of the Japanese Audit, Tax and Consulting Practice for the U.S.

Mr. Crawford is a CPA in the State of New York and received an MBA with distinction from Pace University and a BS degree from Iowa State University in accounting and economics.
