Nicolas Berggruen Holdings GmbH was founded in Berlin in the Fall of 2005. Under the management of Nicolas Berggruen and Samuel Czarny, it manages numerous properties in Berlin and Potsdam and is responsible for their maintenance and modernization.
The firm’s goal is to create a diverse real estate portfolio of expressive buildings as a long-term investment. It is committed to building meaningful architectural projects which make a contribution to the urban environment. Highlights are the legendary Café Moskau, the former Schuckert factory in Treptow and the former royal post office in Potsdam. In Berlin, the firm has acquired a portfolio in excess of 60 buildings to date with over 200,000 meter square of leasable area.
