Fusion Transport was formed in 2019 through the merger of two independent, family-owned third-party logistics companies focused on the less-than-truckload (“LTL”) market. The combination creates an asset-light, nationwide consolidation network that serves as an alternative to the traditional terminal-based LTL model.
The Company’s value proposition is focused on retail, grocery, and volume LTL freight. Leveraging its warehouse footprint to aggregate freight at point of origin, Fusion goes direct to end destinations and delivers superior service metrics at lower costs than the incumbent LTL model.
The Company has a significant retail consolidation program, delivering freight into the distribution centers of the country’s largest retailers and grocers on behalf of its many CPG shipper customers. Lastly, Fusion has a significant brokerage operation – offering a variety of brokered transportation solutions.
